Privacy notice
Last updated 26 August 2026.
This page explains what happens to your details when you RSVP for OKTO Beer Fest, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who's responsible
OKTO AB, org.nr 559197-2202, is the data controller for the information you submit on this page. Questions or requests go to hello@okto.co.
What we collect
When you submit the RSVP form, we store:
- Your first and last name
- Your email address
- Your company, if you give it
- Your plus-one's first and last name, if you bring one
- How you found the page (e.g. newsletter, LinkedIn), if that's in the link you followed
Why we process it
To run the guest list for this event — confirming your spot, planning numbers, and letting you in on the night. This is a legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: a one-off guest list for a single event, kept only as long as it's needed. We don't ask for consent for this because none is required for it, and nothing is used for marketing.
Where it's stored
Submissions go straight into a Google Sheet accessible only to the people organising this event. We don't use a separate database or analytics platform to track who you are.
How long we keep it
Guest list data is deleted no later than 30 days after the event. After that, if we want to invite you to something else, we'll ask again.
Who else sees it
Nobody outside OKTO. We don't sell, rent, or share your details with third parties, and we don't use them for advertising.
Your rights
Under GDPR, you can ask us to:
- show you what we hold about you
- correct anything that's wrong
- delete your details before the 30-day retention period is up
Email hello@okto.co for any of these. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to Sweden's data protection authority, IMY (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten).
This notice covers the RSVP form only. It doesn't cover OKTO's other sites or services.
